If you want to revert (go back) to the previous version of a product (e.g., you accidentally updated a product to the newest version but need to keep using the previous version of it), follow these steps:
1. Close Revit.
2. Go to: Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\TOOLS 4 BIM\*Revit version*\*Product*.
3. Find and enter the folder of the most recent version of the product.
How can you know which folder contains the most recent version? The 3rd & 4th digits in the folder name indicate the product version: the bigger the number, the newer the version. So, the most recent version of the product is in the folder with the biggest number formed by the 3rd & 4th digits in its folder name. (The first 2 digits of the folder name indicate the Revit year/version.)
Example:
Note: if you see only one version (folder) in the Product folder, please contact us.
4. Delete all files from that folder (the folder of the most recent version of the product).
5. Go to the folder of the previous version of the product. Example:
6. Copy all content from that folder and move all the content to the folder of the most recent version of the product.
7. Relaunch Revit, and you will be able to use the previous version of the product.
