When trying to activate a license, you may encounter this error message: "An error has occurred indicating it will not be possible to write a New License in the associated License Store".


Step 1

Reinstall the Dock.

Step 2

Ensure that the user has full access to this folder: C:\ProgramData\AGA-CAD

Navigate to C:\ProgramData\AGA-CAD, right-click on AGA-CAD folder > Properties > Security > Edit > Select your user/user group > Tick 'Allow' for 'Full control' and save your changes.

After that, restart Revit and try to activate the license once again.
